Concept Design For POPULO To Be Potentially Developed into Manufacturing.

For this project I was able to work for a client based in China, Freelancing for Dan Cabral Design. I worked as a team member in this group project. My main tasks was to produce 3d models and 3d renders of one of our two concepts for our client.
Adapting The Vacuum Pump
Most of the research conducted for this project was initially studying the existing vacuum pump, figuring out what parts are musts to incorporate. After this we looked for inspiration creating a mood board to start developing ideas.
Creating an Intriguing Form.
I did a little help with initial concept generation but was mainly assisting with CAD and High quality concepts developed from Team mates ideas.
Robust Design Meeting elegant Curves.
I used Blender to do the Modelling for this project as I worked with the team to go back and forth on design decisions and ideation.
Colour, Materials and Finishes
A very important factor for this product was its visual look and feel. We weren't given a clear colour direction so we explore a lot of different options and colour combinations.
Bringing It All Together
The final detailing always is tricky but what makes the design stand out. The team and I worked back and forth with the client and slowly refined our form.
